The purpose of the Planning and Zoning Commission is to consider plats, hold public meetings on zoning and rezoning, and make recommendations to Council; acts as an advisory board and has such duties and powers as specified by the laws of the State of Texas, the City charter and ordinances.
Appointments are made by the City Council and alternate appointments by the mayor.
