K9 Unit

The K9 Unit consists of Corporal Robert Parsons and Officer Raymond Browder. The K9 team is available to make appearances at schools and special community events, where officers often conduct a demonstration of their applications.

Haltom City K9 Robert Parsons and Harcos 2019

Corporal Parsons is teamed with Harcos, a Belgian Malinois trained in Holland.

Harcos was secured and trained using Drug Forfeiture Funds. The dog is sometimes used to assist other area agencies that do not have K9 units.

Haltom City Texas Police K9 Officer Browder and Ghost

Officer Browder is teamed with Ghost. K9 Ghost began his career with the Haltom City Police Department in January of 2020.

He is trained in tracking, building / area search, article recovery, criminal apprehension, handler protection and narcotics detection.
