ROAD CONSTRUCTION
 Cedarcrest Dr.
January 12 - January 30, 2026

A Contractor working on the Diamond Meadows Subdivision (4100 Denton Hwy.) has requested a full street closure of Cedarcrest Dr. starting Monday, January 12 and ending Friday, January 30, 2026.

A traffic control plan is attached for reference. Variable message boards (electronic boards) will be installed along Denton Hwy. to provide advance notice of the street closure to the traveling public.

Access for residents will be maintained at all times.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Eden Ave. & Zelma St.
Starts December 8, 2025, lasting 120 days

Construction will start on December 8, 2025 on the Capital Improvements Project for Eden Ave. & Zelma St. Water Line Improvements (Community Development Block Grant, 50th Year). The work will take 120 calendar days. The contractor does not plan on closing more than one half of each street (Eden Ave. & Zelma St.) at a time.

Specific work zones will be "rolling" as the utility work is being completed. One half of the roadway will be open as the utility replacements progress. Work zones in specific blocks / areas where the utility work is being performed will be communicated with affected residents (door hangers, knocking, signs, etc.) prior to the work beginning.

The phased traffic control plans will be implemented according to the approximate schedule below:
