Unveiling Ceremony

The public is invited as we unveil the name of Officer Kris "Hutch" Hutchison on the Haltom City Police Pedestal located at the Haltom City Veterans Memorial. Officer Hutchison passed away on October 27, 2021 after a long battle with Covid-19.

The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Haltom City Veterans Memorial, which is located at Haltom Road Park, 3113 Haltom Rd. Mayor An Truong, City Manager Rex Phelps & Police Chief Cody Phillips will present and make comments.

Kris served for four years in the United States Marine Corps before entering law enforcement in 2014. Kris served close to five years with the Haltom City Police Department. He also served with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office and the Kennedale Police Department. Before his passing, “Hutch” served as a School Resource Officer.
