Holiday Grease Round-up

two local drop-off sites available
November 25 - January 6, 2019
24hrs/day

cease the greaseDon’t pour your Thanksgiving grease down the drain! Grease clogs your pipes and can even cause sewer backups. Protect your home, city, and environment by recycling it during this regional collection event! Haltom City will have two locations for cooking oil/grease disposal, and they are self-service sites that are available 24 hours/day between November 25 - January 6, 2019.

4839 Broadway Ave. (Rec Center/Broadway Park)
Haltom City, TX 76117
Drop off location is located at the south end of the concession stand, near the playground and baseball fields.

2211 Higgins Ln.
Haltom City, TX 76111
Drop off location is located in the northeast corner of property, outside the fence and to the right of the gated opening.

What Happens to the Grease?
We will use the collected cooking oil and grease to create biodiesel or turn it into bio-gas for energy production.
