Major Collision – 4400 Glenview Dr.
On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Haltom City Officers responded to a report of a head-on collision in the 4600 block of Glenview. Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles, a red Ford EcoSport SUV and a black Mazda 6 four door, that had been involved in the collision. The two adult male occupants of the Mazda and the adult female driver of the Ford were trapped in their respective vehicles. Haltom City Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and extricated all the occupants of the vehicles. The 34 year old male driver of the Mazda and the male passenger, unknown age, were transported by MedStar Ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital and Harris Hospital, respectively. The 70 year old female driver of the Ford was transported by Watauga Fire Department Ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital. All occupants have severe injuries due to the head-on collision.
Traffic investigators were called to the scene to conduct their investigation. Preliminary investigation indicated that the Mazda was traveling eastbound and the Ford was traveling westbound when the Ford crossed the center line into the path of the Mazda. Both directions of Glenview from Old Denton to Jordan Park remain closed while the investigation is ongoing. Any charges will be determined after the completion of the investigation.
This is an ongoing investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
