On December 6, 2018, Haltom City experienced two robberies within hours of each other. During the first robbery at 3624 Denton Hwy. (Mr. Convenience), an employee was shot with the suspect’s weapon and is expected to recover from his injuries. The second robbery at 2531 Carson St (Carson Food Mart) resulted in the arrest of one suspect, seventeen year old Bryan Rodriguez, for Aggravated Robbery. Rodriguez was booked into the Joint Detention Center in North Richland Hills with a $250,000 bond. He has since been transferred into the custody of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.

Over the weekend, Haltom City Police continued to follow-up on leads developed during this investigation. This led to the arrest of several suspects, including the following four that are believed to be directly involved in this criminal episode:

Francisco Moreno, seventeen years old, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Robbery ($250,000 bond), Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 3.

Edgar Meza, seventeen years old, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Robbery ($250,000 bond), Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Unlawful Carry Weapon, and Possession of a Control Substance, Penalty Group 1.

German Navarrete, seventeen years old, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Robbery ($250,000 bond), Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and Evading Arrest.

Martin Chazarreta, eighteen years old, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Robbery ($250,000 bond), Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and Possession of Marijuana.

During the arrest of the four suspects above, seventeen year old Adam Vidales was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Carry Weapon and seventeen year old Saul Garcia was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2.

Their involvement, if any, in these crimes, is still being examined at this time.Haltom City Detectives are in close cooperation with local agencies to determine if any of these suspects were involved in similar crimes in the surrounding area.If anyone has any information in reference to these incidents, please contact Haltom City Police at 817-222-7000.
