Notice Regarding Temporary Sign Permits

Effective October 12, 2020: return to full adopted ordinance

Gov. Greg Abbott’s Executive Order GA-30 dated September 17, 2020 allowed for the continued expansion to Re-Open Texas. In association with previous orders and to allow for our local businesses to encourage patronage to these businesses, Haltom City had suspended fees charged for temporary banners, signs and flags advertising for business operations since March. The restrictions were lifted to allow businesses the freedom to advertise being open for changes in services, hours or attracting customers who might have otherwise assumed closure.

Beginning October 12, 2020, the city will return to the full adopted ordinance to charge fees for temporary signage.
