NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BUDGET

The Haltom City Council will conduct a Public Hearing for the Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021 Budget for the City of Haltom City at 6:00 p.m. on August 24, 2020 at City Hall, 5024 Broadway Avenue, Haltom City, TX 76117. The public is invited to attend and provide comment. In the event that the COVID-19 Virus restrictions prohibit public gathering at City Hall, citizens will be able to participate at the public hearing via videoconference and will be able to view the public hearing on the city website at the following link: hctx.gov/cc-live and also Spectrum Cable Channel 190. Citizens will also be able to call the office of the City Secretary at 817-222-7749 to address the City Council during the Public Hearing. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $719,435, and of that amount $170,175 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
