We are pleased to announce that the Haltom City Public Library will soon become a member of MetroShare Libraries, a new north Texas library consortium forming in the fall of 2021. The MetroShare libraries include: Burleson Public Library, Benbrook Public Library, Forest Hill Public Library, Haltom City Public Library, Keller Public Library, Richland Hills Public Library and the Watauga Public Library. Due to the change in catalog systems, we will not be able to check out or check in any items on Friday, August 20 or Saturday, August 21, 2021. Our new MetroShare catalog will be live on August 23, 2021.

The Haltom City Public Library is part of the MetroShare library agreement. Haltom City residents may use their Haltom City Library card to borrow from other MetroShare libraries as if they were residents of the other cities. The other MetroShare cities are:

• Burleson
• Benbrook
• Forest Hill
• Keller
• Richland Hills
• Watauga

We also receive deliveries from the MetroShare libraries five times/week. Books and movies are sent to us by request for our residents to pick up. The rules of the other library must be followed when borrowing their items.
