The Haltom City Public Library's 2022 Summer Reading Program will run from May 28 - August 6, 2022.

Children, teens, and adults are all invited to read and earn prizes this summer. You will log every day that you read. We don't care if you read the newspaper, a magazine, a picture book to your kids, your cereal box, a gigantic novel, or listen to a book in your car.

How to Participate

• On your computer: Go to https://haltomcitytx.beanstack.org
• On your smart phone/tablet: Open your app store and download the "Beanstack Tracker" by Zoobean, Inc. Click on "Find Your School or Library" and type in Haltom City Public Library.
• If you already have an account, sign in. If this is your first summer participating online, click on register and follow the instructions on the screen.
• Return to the website or the app to log the days that you have read. Beanstack will let you know when you've earned a prize!
• Paper logs will be available at the library if you prefer.
• Please log on Beanstack OR paper, not both.

Prizes

• Children ages 0 to 11: For every 5 days you read and record, you can claim a prize! A grand prize drawing will be held at the end of the program.
• Teens ages 12 to 17: For every 5 days that your read and record, you get one candy bar plus an entry into a weekly drawing and the grand prize. Read 30 days and receive a plushie. Weekly prizes are $10 gift cards to local businesses and grand prizes will be $25 or $50 Visa gift card.
• Adults ages 18 and up: For every 5 days you read and record, you get one entry into weekly and grand prize drawings. Weekly prizes are $10 gift cards to local businesses and grand prizes will be $25 or $50 Visa gift card.
