COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

In an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 and keeping in line with the Tarrant County Executive Order/Emergency Declarations, the Library is currently closed to the public until further notice. Updates will be forthcoming. All programs, events & classes are included.

Pursuant to Tarrant County’s Stay At Home Executive Order the Library’s drive through pick-up window will no longer be open.

Stuck at home and don’t have a library card? The library will offer temporary eResource cards via email!

To get a card:

  2. We will email you a library card number.
  3. Log into the library’s website to use the resources there with your library card number!

Annual Book Sale Cancelled

What do the "Friends" do?

  • Support and co-host Summer Reading Club, Ladies’ Night Out, Night of Romance, and other special events
  • Fund raise with the annual book sale, mini book sales, pancake breakfast, etc.
  • Promote visibility for the library at City-sponsored events
  • Volunteer at the library
  • Advocate for the library

How much does it cost to be a member?

There is no cost to be a member of the Friends of the HCPL, but donations to the Friends of the Haltom City Public Library are always welcome. A donation can be made at Haltom City Public Library.
