  1. CONSIDERATON AND/OR ACTION REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 18, 2019 – it was moved by Geltmeier and seconded by Porter to approve the minutes of February 18, 2020 as written. The motion prevailed unanimously.

  2. NEW BUSINESS

Chief Jacobs gave the Board an update of the department during the "Shelter in Place" orders. The department has followed all the CDC's guidelines. Bryce Davis our new Emergency Management Coordinator has done a great job keeping the Department informed and up to date.

Banquet, Fire/Police Camp, Retirement and Promotion recognitions have all been postponed. Staff is looking into setting up these events once the City-wide hold on gatherings is lifted.

Senior Center is still closed, so no new information on the possibility of rescheduling Burgers and Bingo.

No decision has been made about having Open House in October. Chief Jacobs stated he feels sure the Fire Safety Clowns will be able to go to the elementary schools during October, Fire Prevention month. Chief Jacobs and Chief Phillips will look into the risks of the event and solutions.
