CITY OF HALTOM CITY

June 18, 2019

 

CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Suzanne Norris called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.

INVOCATION ROLL CALL

PRESENT: Norris, Geltmeier, McConnell, Coffman,

Stokes, Dunbar, Porter

ABSENT: Davenport COUNCIL LIASON: Brent Weast STAFF: Fred Napp

 

  1. CONSIDERATION AND/OR ACTION REGARDING APPROVAL OF MINUTES MAY 21, 2019 - It was moved by Coffman seconded by McConnell to approve the minutes of May 21, 2019 as corrected. The motion prevailed unanimously.

  2. NEW BUSINESS

    CAMP IS FULL! Waiting on one Captain. AA Wrecker gave a $500 donation and Troy Dunn Insurance gave a $250 donation. Chicken Express and CiCi’s pizza have donated lunches and the Police Department will donate food for Friday’s cookout. Board will only have to buy food for Hot Dogs and Mac-n-Cheese and Tacos. Snacks will be frozen pickle juice, the portion cups are purchased, carrots and ranch dressing, frozen grapes and bananas.

    Open House – Saturday, October 5th – we provide items to hand out, and will discuss in July and August Will consult budget.

    New information regarding how funds from the city are budgeted. Meeting will be held to discuss.

    Clown Safety Squad is requesting funds for props, will discuss after the budget meeting with city.

  3. OLD BUSINESS BUDGET UPDATE

VOLUNTEER HOURS - All present log Volunteer hours for the meeting. Amy asked that all members count their volunteer hours and submit them to her as soon as they can.

ADJOURN – It was moved by Geltmeier and seconded by Coffman to adjourn the meeting at 6:58 p.m.
