FEBRURY 19, 2019

CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Suzanne Norris called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

ROLL CALL

PRESENT: Norris, Davenport, Geltmeier, McConnell, Dunbar, Williams, Coffman

ABSENT: Austin

  1. CONSIDERATION AND/OR ACTION REGARDING APPROVAL OF MINUTES January 15, 2019 - It was moved by Geltmeier and seconded by Williams to approve the minutes of January 15, 2019 as written. The motion prevailed unanimously.

  2. NEW BUSINESS

    2019 Annual Fire Banquet – March 9th (Date was changed) Diamond Oaks Country Club –

    Final plans were made for the Banquet – Staff has arranged the menu and decorations. Chief Jacobs has arranged for Jason Tucker, HHS Head Football Coach to be the speaker. Awards have been ordered and door prizes and the wrappings are ready.

    CarFest is Saturday, April 6th.

    David will lead the group at the Carfest with popping popcorn and getting necessary supplies to the event. When the new rolling cart comes in David will assemble it and clean the machines. The plastic donation jars will be used, due to being outside. CERT water will be available but will not be for sale.

    Suzanne will order Elizabeth a new polo shirt, size M.

    Staff found denim aprons at Hobby Lobby, on sale, $3.10 each. We will have these embroidered with “Fire Services Board” or have a fire patch sewn on the bib.

  3. OLD BUSINESS

Chief Jacobs handed out the new Challenge Coins – these coins commemorate the City’s #1 ISO rating!

BUDGET UPDATE

Chairperson Norris gave a Budget Update.

VOLUNTEER HOURS - All present log Volunteer hours for the meeting. Amy asked that all members count their volunteer hours and submit them to her as soon as they can.

ADJOURN – It was moved by Dunbar and seconded by Coffman to adjourn the meeting at 6:45 p.m.
