The 2023 Fire & Police Camp is Now Full
The Haltom City Junior Firefighter & Police Camp is a five day educational program taught by Haltom City firefighters and police officers. The camp, which will be held July 24-28, 2023, covers fire/EMS skills and other hands-on activities. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Camp registration is capped at 20, so register early!
Eligible participants must be entering the 5th or 6th grade for the upcoming 2023-24 school year, with no exceptions. The cost is $150 per camper or $250 for two (2) siblings (siblings only). Camp participants will get a daily lunch/snacks, t-shirt, backpack, water bottle, goggles and a boonie hat. A mandatory parent meeting will be hosted on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Campers will learn about teamwork, responsibility and leadership. Topics include fire science, fire extinguishers, first aid, CPR, search and rescue, vehicle extrication, hose operations and much more. The camp will take place at the Haltom City Central Fire Station, 5525 Broadway Ave. Participants are asked to bring good work gloves, sunblock, insect repellent and a lot of energy!
