Fire Marshal - Fireworks Notice
- Information: 817-759-8663
The Haltom City Fire Marshal would like to remind everyone that possession of opened packages and use of fireworks, including sparklers, is illegal within the City of Haltom City. Each year in the United States hundreds of people are injured, and thousands of fires are caused by the use of fireworks.
This year, the Haltom City Fire Marshal and the Haltom City Police Department will be patrolling the city on July 4th, looking for illegal fireworks. Any illegal fireworks found are subject to confiscation, and a citation may be written to the person in possession of the fireworks. Fireworks are prohibited under City Ordinance #99-006-05 and the International Fire Code Article 56.
If you need to report a fireworks violation call the North Richland Hills-Richland Hills-Haltom City-Watauga Joint dispatch non-emergency number, 817-281-1000.
If you have any questions regarding fireworks, contact Fire Marshal Damian Vogle at 817-759-8663 or by email.
The annual NE Tarrant County Fireworks Show has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
