What You Need
- A valid Haltom City Public Library card

How to Get Started
- Go to www.ntexlibrariesonthego.org.
- Click on the "Account" icon along top right.
- Type the name of your city's library, then type the barcode number of your library card. (note: some libraries may require a password, which will often be the same password you use for your main library account. Contact your library for password assistance)
- If you are unable to log in, there may be an issue with your library account. Contact the HCPL for assistance.
Searching for a Specific Book or Author
- A search box is located at the top right corner of the screen. This may appear as a magnifying glass icon if you are using a mobile device.
- Type in the title or author of the book(s) you are looking for.
- Your search results will appear on the screen.
- If the title or author you are looking for does not appear, check the spelling in your search bar. If the book(s) still do not show up, they may not be available through Overdrive.
OR
- Directly below the search box is an Advanced Search, which will allow for a more specialized search (including format, publication date, series, etc.).
Browsing for Books
You can also browse through the most popular or recently added titles. Go to the menu bar, select “all eBook fiction/non-fiction” OR “all audiobook fiction/non-fiction”. Sort by “Most Popular” OR “Added to Site”. To see only titles that are currently available for checkout, filter the search by “Available Now”.
