Senior Center Relocation Complete

SENIOR CENTER - 3201 Friendly Ln. | Haltom City, TX 76117

City staff, local elected officials and citizens came together on April 22, 2022 to celebrate the grand opening/relocation of the Haltom Senior Center. The Senior Center is now located at 3201 Friendly Ln., just south of City Hall. This is where the old Library and Northeast Center were located.

The new facility is almost twice the size of the old one, offering larger and separate classroom space for our various crafts, painting, quilting and sewing classes. Seniors will also enjoy a larger, more open computer lab and game room. The multipurpose room will host many activities such as exercise classes, Bible study and gospel singers. The kitchen and pantry are much larger, allowing volunteers to work more safely and organize more efficiently. The main room is also much larger, resulting in more visitors being served meals more space for our seniors' favorite activities, like bean bag baseball, bingo, seated volleyball and pool noodle hockey. We expect grand events in the main room with great entertainment, meals and activities for years to come!
