2021 Summer Reading

Summer Reading begins May 22 and ends July 31, 2021. Children, teens and adults are all invited to read and earn prizes this summer. You will log every day that you read. We don't care if you read the newspaper, a magazine, a picture book to your kids, your cereal box, a gigantic novel, or listen to a book in your car.

A PDF file with all of the programming listed here is linked at the end of the article.

How to participate
  • On your computer: Go to https://haltomcitytx.beanstack.org
  • On your smart phone/tablet: Open your app store and download the “BeanstackTracker” by Zoobean, Inc. Click on “Find Your School or Library” and type in Haltom City Public Library. If you already have an account, sign in. If this is your first summer participating online, click on register and follow the instructions on the screen.

Return to the website or the app to log the days that you have read. Beanstack will let you know when you’ve earned a prize! Paper logs will be available at the library for children (birth through 5th grade).
