Haltom City Community Relations strives to tell Haltom City’s story and all of the many community contributions relating to improving the quality of life for its residents. Public communication efforts, with particular emphasis on the City’s web and social media presence, help to engage our diverse city by actively connecting with the residents. She creates, plans and communicates programs to engage and support the residents, as well as promoting community events, city economic development projects, volunteer and giving opportunities, as well as community services and assistance programs. In an effort to support the residents of Haltom City, she represents them on various committees from the business, education, community health non-profit and faith-based sector that align with the city’s strategic goals and priorities.
She partners with city management and staff, community leaders and local organizations to recommend, engage and execute communication efforts to broaden the impact of the City's work, as well as manages the production of internal and external materials, multi-media and publishes the bi-monthly Haltom City Digital Crossroads Newsletter.
Judges have studied the entries in the 2020 Images of Haltom City Photo Contest and have chosen the winners. Best of Show honors went to Chris Burk for his photograph taken here in Haltom City. Mr. Burk will receive a $300 cash prize for his winning entry.
