Due to the large number of positive COVID-19 cases in Tarrant County, recent outbreaks in certain city facilities and out of concern for the safety of our citizens and employees, City administration decided to close City Hall and the Public Works facility to the public effective Monday, December 21, 2020.
Although these buildings are closed to walk-in traffic, all city services are still being delivered.

The Haltom City Public Library is open to the public on a limited basis following guidelines from the Texas Governor and the Center for Disease Control. It should be understood that this is still a fluid situation and all dates, restrictions or limitations may change at any time.
The public MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES when visiting the Haltom City Public Library.
Patrons are encouraged to take advantage of the Library’s drive thru pickup window and drive thru book drop. The drive thru pickup window is for reserved (on hold) materials.
The virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to others by infected persons who have few or no symptoms. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, and following Tarrant County Executive Order of County Judge B. Glen Whitley issued June 25, 2020 and extended on November 24, 2020, it is the policy of the Haltom City Public Library to require the following:

Due to the closure of City Hall, and consequently the Municipal Court offices, all initial appearances from citations issued will be moved to February 28, 2021. You will need to contact the courts before this date to see what your options are.
If you already have a court date set for your citation there will be a virtual court time given. You need to contact the courts after the first of the year and provide your email address in order to be provided the link for your virtual court date.
If you are unsure what your status is you can look your citations up under CITATION SEARCH, search cases, then enter your name or citation. If you have a common name you might want to use the citation option. If you use only the name option, it will pull up everyone with your name, not just your violation.

Senior Center staff is distributing food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. as well as hosting two Tarrant Area Food Bank drive-thru food distributions on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 1:00 p.m.
Starting October 9, 2020 the Senior Center is home delivering meals every Friday to those sixty (60) years of age or older and those married to someone 60 or older. There will be five (5) frozen meals and a box of fresh produce.
