haltom city carfest 2020 875xThe 2020 Haltom City CARFEST will be Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Haltom High School.

CARFEST is our annual car, truck, Jeep and motorcycle show. 2020 marks the 11th anniversary of Haltom City hosting this event. CARFEST is a fun, free family event that showcases and entertains local car enthusiasts and our many automotive businesses. All the proceeds from CARFEST raise money to purchase new school supplies for Haltom City elementary, middle and high school students in Birdville Independent School District (BISD) for the 2020-2021 school year.

Collectors and enthusiasts can register their ride for only $25. A 2020 CARFEST t-shirt and a 2020 CARFEST commemorative dash plate are included with the registration. There are over 20 competitive categories. Judging, conducted by the North Texas Street Cars Association, begins at 12:00 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 1:30 p.m.

CARFEST is Haltom City’s signature annual event and serves as our biggest fundraising effort for our Haltom City students at Refresh BISD. For every one car that registers, a Haltom City student’s sponsorship will be funded at the annual Refresh BISD.

CARFEST also includes family activities, including inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon twisters, crafts, free goodie bags (while supplies last) and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. The Haltom City Police and Fire/Rescue Departments will be there, as well as our CERT team with their Fire Safety Smoke House to educate kids and adults about what to do in case of a fire.

Stay up to date on our CARFEST Facebook page as well as here (hctx.gov/carfest).
