Regular Session – 7:00 P.M.

 

This Council Meeting will be conducted in the City Council Chambers at City Hall and participation by Council Members, City Staff, and Agenda Personnel will be in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act or pursuant to the Action issued by the Governor of Texas on March 16, 2020. This Meeting can be viewed on the city website on the following link: hctx.gov/cc-live. Citizens may also be able to view the Meeting on Spectrum Cable Channel 190. Social distancing will be required in the Council Chambers because of the COVID 19 health and safety regulations. Citizens may also email their comments on the agenda items to the City Secretary to have them read at the meeting. The email address is: and the deadline is 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020.

    Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code

    As authorized by Section 551.071, the City Council reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to seek legal advice from the City Attorney about any matters listed on the agenda, in addition to the following matters: Consultation with the City Attorney pertaining to any matter in which the duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct may conflict with the Open Meetings Act; including discussion of any item posted on the Agenda; to seek legal advice on open meetings, open records, code of ethics and conflicts of interest, legal impact of COVID-19, regulation of alcoholic beverages, dissolution of the EDC, and pending litigation and settlement offers for the following cases:
