Haltom City is thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated renovation of North Park, located at 5220 Denton Hwy., is officially underway! After receiving a matching grant from Texas Parks & Wildlife in 2021, the project faced delays due to the global pandemic and rising inflation, but we are excited to now move forward.
During construction, North Park will be completely closed to the public, but the wait will be worth it! Once completed, the park will feature a 4-acre stocked fishing pond, an amphitheater, walking trails, improved parking, and a brand-new playground. The existing softball field and disc golf course will remain.
This renovation will create a park unlike any other in Haltom City, and we can’t wait to see it come to life. Construction is expected to be completed by spring 2025, with a grand opening celebration planned for May or June.
