Haltom City - Great American Clean-Up & Texas Trash-OffHaltom City is gearing up for its annual community cleanup event, the Great American Cleanup and Texas Trash-Off, scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event, organized by Keep Haltom City Beautiful, is a call to action for businesses, civic groups, schools, and volunteers to join hands in beautifying and cleaning up various areas throughout the city.

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up online and show up at one of the designated clean-up areas listed below at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024.  The cleanup locations include:

  • NE 28th St. Cemetery
  • Buffalo Ridge Park - Beach St. entrance
  • Buffalo Ridge Park - Parkwood Trail entrance
  • Buffalo Ridge Park - trails near Haltom High School
  • Whites Branch Park
  • areas around 121 & Haltom Rd.
  • 377 & Broadway Ave. to Webster St.
  • 377 & Glenview Ave. to 820

Apart from the satisfaction of contributing to a cleaner environment, volunteers will be treated to snacks, prizes, and giveaways as a token of appreciation for their efforts. Keep Haltom City Beautiful will provide all necessary cleanup supplies, ensuring that volunteers have everything they need to make a meaningful impact.
