On Saturday, November 11, 2017, at approximately 12:06 PM, Haltom City officers were dispatched to a robbery at 4600 Denton Highway, PDQ. Upon arrival, officers were told that a white female had robbed the store at knifepoint. The female was described as being in her 30s, wearing a gray hoodie jacket and shorts. The female left the business on foot with an undisclosed about of money. Haltom City K9 officers were called to the scene, and a K9 tracked the female to a residence in the 5600 block of Starlight. Officers created a perimeter around the residence, and the Haltom City SWAT team responded to the scene. The SWAT team utilized a loud speaker to call everyone outside the residence. Upon the residents exiting the house, the SWAT team made entry into the residence to search for other occupants. After the search was completed, the scene was released to the Haltom City detectives.
On Thursday, November 16, 2017, Haltom City detectives received information that the suspect in this case was Sasha Jack, 30 years old. Officers responded to the apartment where Sasha Jack was living and made contact with her. Officers transported her to the police department for questioning. During the questioning, Jack admitted to committing the robbery. An arrest warrant was completed for Jack, and she was taken into custody for Aggravated Robbery. Jack was transported to the North Richland Hills Joint Detention Center where she was released to their custody. Her bond was set at $25,000. If convicted, Jack faces a possibility of five (5) to ninety-nine (99) years in prison and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
