We Need Your Help

Newly planted trees, rose bushes and other foliage are being stolen along the newly constructed backage roads just north and south of IH 820 (east and west of Haltom Rd.). Haltom City officials have worked hard to construct new roadways to help spur new commercial development along the IH 820 corridor. As part of the project, street intersections and corners have been beautifully landscaped, only to have the newly planted trees and shrubs stolen over the last week (at night) on multiple occasions. If you have any information or have seen anything suspicious, please call the Haltom City Police department at 817-222-7071.

Adopt a Pet from Haltom City Animal Services

Haltom City Animal Services (HCAS) has a wonderful adoption program, and we invite you to consider our shelter when looking for your next pet. Available animals may be viewed during normal shelter hours. We also have a play yard and a play room where you can get to know your new best friend and find out if the match is right.

Based on age and health, most of our animals receive all necessary vaccinations before adoption. The adoption fee is based on services provided to animal.

All animals are required to be spayed or neutered after they are adopted, with documentation provided to the shelter. This is the responsibility of the adopter, and is required by both city and state laws.

You must be 18 or over, with a valid I.D. to adopt an animal. A legal contract is required for each adoption, and HCAS has the right to refuse adoption to anyone.
