What is Paw Pals?
 

MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure the safety, health and well being of the animals being sheltered at the Nancy P. Watkins Animal Care and Adoption Center of Haltom City, Texas and to further ensure that all adopted animals are placed in loving, nurturing homes, to the best of our ability.

ABOUT US

Paw Pals of Haltom City is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization supported entirely by volunteer donations and dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare. Paw Pals is governed by a board of directors.

OUR PURPOSE:

To provide care for homeless animals, placing animals for adoption and fostering and to promote animal population control by educating the public about spaying and neutering programs.

NEEDS:
The shelter is always is need of items for their day-to-day operations:
  • Paper towels
  • Laundry detergent
  • Bleach
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Old blankets
  • Windex
  • Towels
  • Cleanser
  • Dry puppy food & quality dog food
  • Dog/Cat shampoo
  • Kitten food
  • Rubber gloves
  • Quality microscope

MEETINGS

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Ways You Can Help

At the present time we meet on the second Monday of each month at the Haltom City Recreation Center. All meetings are open to the public at 7PM. We adjourn promptly at 8PM.
There are so many ways that you can help the animals. Off-site adoptions, foster care and volunteering at the shelter. Our off-site adoptions are held on Saturdays at a local PetSmart or PetCo. Your help is welcomed and times are flexible.
