Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) has confirmed the presence of West Nile Virus (WNV) in mosquito samples collected in two areas within the City of Haltom City. The first sample is from an area in Northeast Haltom City around Estes Park Drive (confirmed last week and the week prior). The second sample is from an area in east Haltom City around Diamond Oaks Drive South (confirmed two weeks ago).
Weather permitting (wind speeds must be under 10 mph), Haltom City will spray both locations on Thursday, July 14th, 2016. Ground spraying will start at 9:00 p.m. and conclude by 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
