- Four Evening Classes During Month of October
Are you a resident of Tarrant County who wants to quit smoking? Have you tried everything to stop smoking and nothing seems to work? Has a stressful event caused you to restart smoking? Are you ready to experience immediate health benefits and save money? If you answered “YES” to any of these questions this program is for you!
Tarrant County Public Health is offering a FREE Tobacco Cessation Program, Live Tobacco Free, at the Haltom City Recreation Center during the month of October.
Live Tobacco Free is a free, four-week, step-by-step plan for quitting smoking addressing four key issues.
- Managing stress
- Nicotine withdrawal
- Weight control
- Long‐term strategies for maintaining cessation
The program is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings beginning in October (10/3, 10/10, 10/17, & 10/24). You must attend by the second class, October 10th, to participate in the program. Water, snacks and quit kits will be provided. Space is limited and you must register, call 1-844-X-SMOKER (1-844-976-6537) or email: firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
