HCPL's Ladies' Night Out - Aug 12

Early-Bird Registration - Now through June 17

haltom city public library texasThe Haltom City Library's 2017 Ladies' Night Out will offer a chance to enjoy a night out meeting new friends and mingling with old ones. Women 18 years and older will be treated to a scrumptious dinner catered by Chef Tyler. There will be a silent auction, raffles, shopping from vendors and many new things this year!

For those who purchase a ticket between now and June 17th the price is $39 and your name will be entered into a prize drawing. For those who purchase after June 17st the ticket price is $45 and you will not be eligible for the drawing.

Super Science Saturdays - June 3

HCPL's Weekly Story Times

haltom city library imaginationThe Haltom City Public Library hosts a series of Story Times throughout the week. Activities can include bubbles, songs, stories, a craft, a movie, parachute play or other surprises.

The Library is located at 4809 Haltom Rd. For more information call the Library at 817-222-7786.

All story times are 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.


Pre-School Story Time - Thursdays

Appropriate for ages 3 and older; puppet show on the first Thursday of each month.

Toddler Time - Fridays

Appropriate for ages 2 and younger.

Bi-lingual Story Time - Wednesdays

Appropriate for ages infant – age 5; bilingual stories in English & Spanish.


The Library also hosts special story times throughout the year, including during the annual Summer Reading Program in June and July.

Coloring & Cookies for Grown Ups

"Raspberry Pi" Computer Exhibit at HCPL

haltom city library rasberry pi exhibitA hands-on exhibit, on loan from the University of Texas at Dallas, is now on display at the Haltom City Public Library. This "Raspberry Pi" exhibit is a fun way to learn about computers and computer coding for children (and adults) of all ages.

The computer has three easy-to-use programs of varying difficulty to teach children all about computer coding in a safe environment. This interactive display is in the Children’s Department.

HCPL's Ladies' Night Out

haltom city library ladies night out 2015 8The Haltom City Library hosted its 3rd Annual Ladies' Night Out on Saturday, August 13th from 6-10:00 p.m. As in the past, Ladies' Night Out offered a chance to enjoy a night out meeting new friends and mingling with old ones.

In its third year, Ladies’ Night Out is an annual fundraiser in support of programming for the library community including the Summer Reading Club. The evening is an event for women to come together to relax and meet new and old friends, enjoy a sensational dinner, indulge in activities and shopping.
