Christmas Providers

Accepting Donations November 6 - December 8, 2017, and Volunteers are Needed
http://www.orgsites.com/tx/christmasproviders/

christmas providers tarrant county texasAs we all focus on the upcoming Christmas holidays, too many families in our nearby neighborhoods will wake up Christmas morning without enough food in their pantries to prepare a proper meal or gifts to give their children. We can change that. Christmas Providers, a non-profit organization serving the community for over 30 years, sponsors an adopt-a-family program for over 500 "in need" families every year right here in our part of Tarrant County. With your help, we will be here again this year to help fulfill the Christmas wishes of children in the Birdville & HEB Independent School Districts.

If you would like to become "provider", our minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Provide at least one wrapped, reasonably-priced gift for each child in the family. A list of requested gift ideas, including clothing sizes as recommended by the child’s parent/guardian, will be provided to you for your consideration.
  • Provide a meat item (ham, turkey) for the family’s Christmas dinner.
  • Pick up the prepared boxed food and grocery gift card provided by Christmas Providers volunteers at our Distribution Center, located at First United Methodist Church of Hurst, 521 West Pipeline, Hurst 76053.
  • Deliver all the above directly to the adopted family prior to Christmas Eve.

To Adopt a Family by being a "provider", please call 817-503-0529 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. from November 6 through December 8, 2017. You may also email them at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Many families have already been adopted over the past few weeks. Haltom City, Richland Hills, Watauga, Bedford, and Euless all have families that need to be adopted.

As in the past 30-plus years, our goal is to have all of the families adopted before Friday, December 1, 2017.

Thank you for your assistance...together we will make a difference!

Volunteers are needed to sort and box the collected food items on December 4, 5, and 6 between 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Scout Building at First United Methodist Church located at 521 W. Pipeline Rd. in Hurst, TX. Contact Marc Roberson at 817-421-0437 to schedule large groups. Walk-in help is always appreciated.

Cash Donations are used to purchase grocery gift cards for the families. Mail your donation to:

PO Box 621
Hurst, TX 76053

Thank you for your assistance...together we will make a difference!
