Free Memorial Day Activities

haltom city american legion post 655 may 30 2016Two events are taking place on Memorial Day, May 30th, here in Haltom City. The American Legion Post #655 will be hosting a Memorial Day program to honor our fallen veterans at the New Trinity Cemetery, 4001 NE 28th Street on Monday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m.

There is also a free concert to salute current and retired members of the U.S. Military Armed Services at the Haltom City Memorial Day Celebration on May 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #655, located at 2817 Carson St. The Jazz Monsters, a 20 piece big band, will be playing popular music from the 1940’s and 50’s, as well as patriotic favorites. Funding is provided by the Texas Commission of the Arts and the Arts Council Northeast.
