2015 Photo Contest Winners

2015 haltom city images of photo contest best of showJudges have studied the 319 entries in the 2015 Images of Haltom City Photo Contest and have chosen the winners. Best of Show honors went to Isabelle Normandin for her picture of a butterfly, entered in the Haltom City Animals Category. The winner will be published in the 2016 Haltom City Community Calendar, and Normandin will receive a $200 prize for her work. Normandin also took honors in the Architecture and Documentary categories.

The judges for the contest, which is now 27 years old, were Cos Deleo, Michelle Cahill Johnson and Gary Blocker. The winners and all of the contest entries will be displayed at the Haltom City Library beginning Wednesday, April 1.

A presentation program during which winners and finalists will be recognized and attendees can visit with the judges is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30, at the Haltom City Northeast Center, 3201 Friendly Ln. It is free, and the public is invited.
