The Drug Awareness Resistance Education program, better known as D.A.R.E., has been revitalized. The program is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons taught from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The totally new D.A.R.E. curricula integrates the latest in researched strategies into the world’s largest and most effective educational delivery network and is currently im

plemented in over 75% of our nation’s schools. Haltom City Police are proud to announce our participation in the resurgence of this valuable program. Officer Brandi Perkins is doing a great job re-introducing the program, and it has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm by the students.
