Hurricane Harvey

Haltom City is not accepting material donations such as clothing and blankets for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. If citizens want to contribute to Hurricane Harvey disaster relief money may be donated directly to the American Red Cross. Select Hurricane Harvey from the drop-down menu. At this time and in the upcoming days, money will be the greatest need and the easiest and most convenient way of assisting those affected..

TCC Haltom City Northeast Center

The Haltom City Economic Development Corporation has partnered with Tarrant County College Northeast in renovating the Haltom City Civic Center to make it suitable for continuing education classes.

The Civic Center, located at 3201 Friendly Lane, is an advantageous location with ample space to increase TCC NE course offerings. See a short video explaining how the project came about and how it will serve the community.

Programs expected to be offered include pharmacy tech certification, emergency medical services, ESL courses, computer courses and small business management.

TCC has renovated about half of the 17,000 square foot building for classes. The other half of the building will be available to the community as a rental facility. More in formation can be found at the TCC Haltom City Northeast Center website.
