Classes Offered at Recreation Center

Classes are Available for Both Children & Adults

Ballet & Tap

Students will learn beginner ballet moves including barre exercises and center combinations along with introductory tap dance routines.

  • For ages 4 – 8
  • Meets Thursdays, July and August from 5 – 6:00 p.m.
  • $40/month

Dance - Youth Cheer

Students will learn the basics of cheerleading including chants, cheer, dance/pom pom routines, and beginner tumbling and stunting. The cheerleaders will be taught a routine to perform at one of the center's youth basketball games.

  • For ages 4 – 10
  • Meets Saturdays, July and August from 3 - 4:00 p.m.
  • $40/month

Summer in STEM - Girls, Inc.

This program is designed to get girls interested in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This FREE program is three weeks long and divided by age groups. Join Us Fridays, July 14 – July 28, 2017. Please pre-register as space is limited. More information available at www.girlsinctarrant.org.
