Under the supervision of the Patrol Operations Lieutenant, Animal Services enforces city ordinances concerning domestic pets and livestock and responds to citizen concerns. Animal Services has three civilian Officers and one Kennel Technician under a civilian supervisor. All officers hold multiple certifications in animal care.

The Kennel Technician is responsible for cleaning the shelter and caring for the sheltered animals. The shelter has 36 dog kennels and 33 cat kennels.
