(HC 3/2/11) Citizens are invited to grab a bag and help clean up the city during the Haltom City Texas Trash-Off set for Saturday, April 2nd. The Trash-Off is just one activity of this year’s Great American Cleanup, a project coordinated by Keep America Beautiful involving cities across the U.S. Haltom City volunteers are asked to report at 8:45 a.m. to the Buffalo Ridge Park Pavilion, 5720 Parkwood Trail. Pickup supplies will be provided, and a picnic for volunteers will follow. To pre-register, call Keep Haltom City Beautiful at 817 222-7767.
