The fine amount is only valid when the fine is paid by the appearance date on the citation. After the appearance date, a warrant and a failure to appear violation will be issued; therefore, the original fine amount is no longer valid. You will be required to appear at a scheduled court date if the incorrect amount is mailed for your fine. Partial payments will not be accepted.
