We Need Your Help

Newly planted trees, rose bushes and other foliage are being stolen along the newly constructed backage roads just north and south of IH 820 (east and west of Haltom Rd.). Haltom City officials have worked hard to construct new roadways to help spur new commercial development along the IH 820 corridor. As part of the project, street intersections and corners have been beautifully landscaped, only to have the newly planted trees and shrubs stolen over the last week (at night) on multiple occasions. If you have any information or have seen anything suspicious, please call the Haltom City Police department at 817-222-7071.

2014 Car Show for Kids

2014 Haltom City Car Show For KidsSponsorships are now available for the 2014 Car Show for Kids, which takes place on Saturday, March 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Haltom High School (5501 Haltom Rd.).

Now in its 5th year, the car show raises money for the annual Back-to-School Fair, which provides resources and school supplies for Haltom City elementary and middle school students.

This event is free to attend. The show features classic & restored autos, trucks and motorcycles. Trophies will be awarded in numerous categories. The entry fee is $20.

Sponsorships, ranging from $100-5,000, are available through February 28th, 2014. Download this PDF file for details on sponsorship levels. A form is also included.

There will also be a bicycle safety rodeo, presentation of awards to winners of the Car Show for Kids, a coloring contest, games and inflatables for the kids, as well as food concessions and vendor booths.
