Customer Service Department

The Customer Service Department handles the planning, activities, and operations of the Haltom City Utility Billing and Municipal Court divisions. The goal of the department is to ensure customer service efforts appropriately meet the expectations of the community by understanding the customer’s needs and concerns, providing timely responses to inquiries, and assuring efficient and courteous service.

fathom logoThe Utility Billing Department, located in City Hall, closed permanently on January 11, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Customers will be unable to make any form of payment until January 15, 2018 as we transition to FATHOM Water Management. Haltom City & FATHOMTM Water Management, Inc. (FATHOM), the utility-to-utility Smart Grid for Water technology leader, have announced a new partnership. Haltom City is the fifth municipality in Texas to adopt FATHOM’s water management platform.

On January 15, 2018 Haltom City will employ the complete suite of FATHOM software and managed services solutions as part of a partnership of a water management platform. The transition will affect all residents and businesses that have water accounts with the City of Haltom City. The FATHOM partnership will include a new centrally located office to pay your water bills, additional payment options through a new online portal, and a new Smart Grid automated meter infrastructure. The SmartGrid for water uses Advanced Metering Infrastructure technology to remotely collect and upload water meter data. While the new FATHOM office will open on January 15, 2018, the meter installations will continue throughout 2018.

Payments can also be made athttps://haltomcity.U2YOU.gwfathom.com beginning on January 15, 2018. New account numbers will be provided to all residential & commercial account holders by mail during the first half of January, 2018.

Haltom City Municipal Court

haltom city municipal courtHaltom City Municipal Court is the Judicial Branch of city government and is operated out of the Customer Service Department.

The Haltom City Municipal Court is organized into two sections, the Judiciary and Court Administration. The mission of the Judiciary is to conduct business separate and independent of the other two branches of government and in doing so, providing fair and impartial justice to the citizens of Haltom City. The mission of the Court Administration is to support the Judiciary by assisting the public with competence and patience and by managing court operations with skill and economy.
