Haltom City Municipal Court

Haltom City Municipal Court is the Judicial Branch of city government and is operated out of the Customer Service Department.

The Haltom City Municipal Court is organized into two sections, the Judiciary and Court Administration. The mission of the Judiciary is to conduct business separate and independent of the other two branches of government and in doing so, providing fair and impartial justice to the citizens of Haltom City. The mission of the Court Administration is to support the Judiciary by assisting the public with competence and patience and by managing court operations with skill and economy.

Customer Service Department

The Customer Service Department handles the planning, activities, and operations of the Haltom City Utility Billing and Municipal Court divisions. The goal of the department is to ensure customer service efforts appropriately meet the expectations of the community by understanding the customer’s needs and concerns, providing timely responses to inquiries, and assuring efficient and courteous service.

Haltom City Utility Billing

A division of the Customer Service Department, Utility Billing serves as the initiation and billing center for water utilities which includes sewer and refuse. Utility Billing handles service setup, billing, revenue collection, customer inquiries, problem resolution and complaint processing.

Utility Billing is the Haltom City's central cashier for processing all revenue transactions and bank deposits for all other City departments. Primary responsibilities include; insuring the accurate and timely billing and collection for services provided, assisting new and current residents with utility services, to notify refuse contractors of missed pickups and to resolve complaints to the best of our ability while preserving the requirements set by Haltom City ordinances. The daily overriding goal for each staff member of this division is to treat all customers in a friendly and fair manner.
