2018 CARFEST Wrap-Up

$15,000 Raised for the Refresh BISD Health Fair

The 9^th annual Haltom City CARFEST, held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, was a great success! A record 137 vehicles registered and approximately 1700 people attended this annual fundraising event. Through 25 business sponsorships, 137 vehicle registrations, t-shirt sales and donations, CARFEST raised ap­proximately $15,000 for the Refresh BISD, Back to School Health Fair, which will be held Saturday, August 18^th at the Wiley G. Coliseum.

We held the annual bike safety kids coloring contest, with all of the Haltom City elementary schools participating. A girl and boy winner from each grade was given a brand new bicycle and helmet at CARFEST. The new bicycles and helmets are paid for from the Red Light Camera Fund. Thanks to the Haltom City Police Department for partnering with us for this.
