Donation to Haltom High Band
At the 2017 Haltom City Carfest, we were pleased to welcome the Haltom High School drumline to entertain the crowd, and they were definitely a highlight of the event. The City presented them with a $2,000 donation to help meet the band’s financial needs. We also wanted to thank them for being so generous with their time for Haltom City events and functions.
The Pride of Haltom, the Haltom High School band, has become a regular participant in Christmas on Broadway, Carfest, Gallery Night, the Haltom City Fire/Rescue Banquet and other community events. The City wants to support their program and the impact the arts have on the students of Haltom City, as well as in the community. Thank you to Haltom Band Directors, Donnie Hull, Greg Hull, Lynna Russell, Kristen Wilkirson, and Percussion Coordinator, Casey O’Neal.
