Anyone interested in helping improve public city property in a personal way is encouraged to sign up for Adopt-a-Spot. This is one of the first programs sponsored by the Haltom City Beautification Board when it was organized in 1984. Many people have pitched in over the years to help spruce up public areas in Haltom City and keep them clean by patrolling for litter. The registration process is simple, and individuals and groups can sign up.
