Recycling Can Raise Money for the New HCPL
Residents and businesses that would like to help raise money for the new
Haltom City Public Library, now under construction, may do so in a personal
way. The city is working with the Paper Retriever Program and is collecting
paper for recycling. Bins for collecting the paper are yellow and green and
are located at the library, Fire Station #3 (the water tower) and at the
senior center. Acceptable items include newspapers, magazines, shopping
catalogs, office and school paper, mail and phone books. Unacceptable items
include tissue, food wrap and corrugated cardboard. Funds will be used to
purchase furniture for the children’s area at the new facility.
