The Haltom City Police Department, in conjunction with the Inter-Agency Child Safety Seat Task Force and Gwaltney Allstate Insurance Agency, will be conducting a FREE child safety seat check-up event on Wednesday, March 19th from 10AM to 2PM in the parking lot of Ace Mart Restaurant Supply at 5600 Denton Highway. 

Parents are encouraged to bring their children and their child safety seats to be inspected by Certified Child Safety Seat Technicians.  The technicians will inspect the safety seat to ensure the seat conforms to federal guidelines and to ensure the manufacturer has not recalled the seat.  In addition to inspecting the safety seat, technicians will educate parents on proper installation.
