Police Administration is comprised of the Chief of Police, one Assistant Police Chief, three Police Lieutenants and an Administrative Assistant.  Members of Police Administration strive to stay on the cutting-edge of policing by implementing the management practices and procedures that will best ensure the safety and security of Haltom City citizens.  Under the direction of the Chief of Police, the Assistant Chief and Lieutenants manage the day-to-day operations of the Department, which has 72 sworn officers and 28 civilian personnel in Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Traffic, 911 Communications, Detention Services, Professional Standards, Community Services, and Animal Services.
