The purpose of the ZBA is t o hear and decide cases where it is alleged there is an error in any requirement, decision, or determination made by the zoning ordinance or the building official in the enforcement of the ordinances. The Board also has the power to establish public notice and hearing to alter previous action in such matters. The Board consists of five regular members & four alternates. Appointments are made by the Mayor and Council. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:15 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 5024 Broadway Ave. Agendas/minutes for the ZBA can be found here.

Reviews orders, decisions or determinations made by the building official relative to the application and interpretations of the code.  Meets as needed. Agendas/minutes can be found here.

Sign Board of Appeals
Grants variances from size, spacing, height, set-back, location and other requirements of the ordinance, both as to off-premises and on-premises signs.  Meets as needed. Agendas/minutes can be found here.
